Hi Cindy, just wanted your opinion on how to go about selling pre loved designer items. I am thinking of putting them up on ebay but wanted to know if there were any other options worth considering. Any experiences with buying or selling 2nd hand designer goods you can share? Thanks heaps :)

I sold my designer items on eBay once upon a time but have stopped doing so after running into a couple of really nasty buyers. My biggest peeve about selling on eBay was having to deal with buyers who made up the weirdest, the most unwarranted accusations just to get out of paying for the item. Other than that, eBay can be a great place to see off your preloved belongings. And at times it can be really rewarding. I hope you get lucky and never have to deal with some of the nasty people I’ve had to in the past :)

I haven’t been selling online for so long now, I don’t know where else you could? I’m kinda out of the loop! I guess if you have a blog, you could do it through there or ask a popular blogger to do a plug for you as a one time favour? Sorry, I have no idea!

Regarding purchasing preloved designer goods, eBay is always a good start but make sure you ask the right questions to ensure you’re not getting ripped off! Some of my favourite browse throughs on eBay are:

edropoff
simonesato
linda*s***stuff

The first two sellers list preowned and new items. And I’d also recommend HG Bags

Hope this helps!
