The only time I left the house today was to go down to the PO BOX to pick up the mail. Nothing overly interesting to note however I’m glad I finally got my Airport Lounge pass. It’ll come in handy when I next go on holidays, which could be in Aug/Sept when DH goes to Manila for work again.
We also received this month’s Departures in the mail. It’s a free travel magazine by Amex for Amex cardholders. I love reading through their hotel reviews, must try restaurants and carefully curated fashion/art picks.
In this month’s issue, as part of their travel offer for cardholders, they have an awesome Banyan Tree offer- complimentary night’s stay with every paid night, applicable to 20 of their hotels/resorts, globally. Their resort in Maldives included! In my head, I was already calculating the savings, ‘..pay 2, get 4, pay 3, get 6..oh goodness!’. So, the overly excited me, rang to tell DH but he didn’t seem all that interested. (Like, how?!? Sigh!) I’m hoping it was because he was too busy at work to really listen to what I was saying. Any guesses to what kind of conversation we’ll be having tonight when he comes home? :)
Anyway, I also received a copy of the photos I took in Paris last year with a disposable camera. Finally got them developed! It was sooo much fun to flick through them all. Fond memories!
